Patrick McBride currently holds the title of VP Sales, Foodservice at Strauss Brands, a 100% Grass-fed beef, veal, and lamb company based in Waukesha, WI. With over 30 years of advancing experience in the food manufacturing realm, his career began at ConAgra and moved on to such companies as Tyson Foods and Basic American Foods. Although Patrick’s interest has always revolved around food, once considering a life as a Chef, it wasn’t until after he received his degree in Marketing from San Diego State University that he decided to pursue a career in an industry that could marry his love of food, marketing, and his desire to meet new people. It was also during this time, that Patrick first became involved with NACUFS (National Association of College & University Food Service), eventually serving as a member of the Industry Advisory Council for three years from 2005 – 2007. In 2019, he received the NACUFS Daryl Van Hook Industry Award, the highest honor bestowed on College & University Industry partners. Patrick currently lives in Dana Point, California with his girlfriend Stephanie and has two grown children, Jason & Avery. When not working, Patrick can be found enjoying time at the beach or participating in a variety of sporting activities including working out, racquetball, and golf.
