Orlando is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where his passion for food was ignited and fueled. Orlando studied business at the University of New Mexico and the culinary arts at the world famous Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France. Orlando then spent the next portion of his career working on the Mississippi River’s iconic steamboats and various cruise lines in Hawaii, Alaska, the Pacific Northwest of the United States and Wellington, New Zealand. Orlando refined his culinary techniques while working in the south pacific where he spent several years working for the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in both Lānaʻi, Hawaii and Sydney, Australia.

 

Prior to being the Corporate Executive Chef with Nestlé Professional. Orlando was the Executive Chef at one of Dallas, Texas's landmark, the House of Blues Dallas in the heart of Victory Park. Orlando spent almost a decade in Sports & Entertainment in both Austin, Texas & Dallas, Texas. Primarily for the Dallas Stars (NHL) and the Dallas Mavericks (NBA). Where he was able to be a part of some historic events including the NBA Finals, NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, NASCAR racing, and concerts for various artists such as Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, Bon Jovi, George Strait, Garth Brooks and Eric Clapton.

 

Orlando is currently the Corporate Executive Chef with Nestle Professional. Where his talents are utilized by helping others in the hospitality, and culinary industry achieve their dreams and goals.
