The only jobs Wirtz has ever had revolve around food.Started as a dishwasher and prep cook while in high school which lead toan earned a BA in Culinary Arts from J&W Providence Campus in 1998 and a MAT in 2000.

Before starting at Blount Fine Foods, Wirtz worked in Providence area restaurants and worked with fine caterers in the RI/MA area. Jeff has been working at Blount since 2003, at the company’s original Warren, RI facility.  Today Wirtz oversees culinary operations for all 4 of the company’s production plants located in Fall River, Ma, Warren, RI, McKinney Texas, & the newest one in Portland Oregon. Featured in several trade articles and is a long time member of the RCA. Jeff currently resides in Riverside, RI.
